Team Managers
The Team Managers will support their team’s coaches, by assisting with communications and emails between parents and coaches, coordinating uniforms check out and return, sending reminders, helping coordinate directions and game and practice reminders, as examples of duties. Team Managers do not coach, they assist with some of the administrative duties to support their team’s coaches.
Team managers should have a working knowledge of email, internet and organization skills. Most of the communication will be through our programs website using your team pages to communication information between the coach and parents and players.
The Spring Lacrosse Season typically starts at the end of February or first week of March with practices indoors or out (depending on weather and field conditions) with games starting around the last week of April and running through the second week of June. Games are scheduled by the coaches around field availability at a scheduling meeting in March. Games and Practices are usually early evening and on weekends.
Fundraisers
We welcome individuals who are interested in attracting donations, sponsors and other fund-raising activities to help our program continue to grow and develop.
Activities such as informing parents that work for companies that provide matching funds for donations to sign-up for this option, helping contact local and regional sponsors to help cover the costs of activities, apparel items or events that our program offers are few examples.
If you can help with this year's current events: merchandise sales, photos, or family picnic
Please contact Annie Scibek ascibek@gmail.com and she will get you in touch with the chair of that event.
Field Coordinator
Working with the RHAM Youth Lacrosse Coordinator the Field Coordinator will work with area Town Agencies and Organizations to help provide field access to our lacrosse teams for practice and games. Typically this involves coordinating with the Town of Hebron, Marlborough and Columbia Parks and Recreation Directors and possibly other private organizations to create field space opportunities for lacrosse.
Please contact the RHAM Youth Lacrosse Coordinator if you are interested.
